The exchange of ambassadorial gifts was an essential element of the relationship between Russia and Bukhara. Among gifts brought by Emir were Akhal -Teke horses and a rich harness. Embroiderers from Shakhrisabz and Bukhara made trappings, saddle cloths and blankets. Richly decorated horse harness as well as elegant ornamented men clothes were the important part of the splendid arriving ceremony of the Emir procession.
