Horns for wine drinking were the most important attributes of the Georgian holiday feast. Traditionally horns were decorated with silver plates which could contain wishful thinking or exemplary inscriptions. On one of the horns there is a quotation of Shota Rustaveli: “The thing that was hidden – lost forever, the thing that was given – that is yours.” On the other horn inscribed one popular toast: “”Let whole Georgia flourish” – said this horn of wine.”
