Children skull cap with a number of the amulets was an object that had a life and health protective function. Triangle amulets "toumar" made of piece of fabric, different kinds of beads, buttons, coins were similar to the sacral knot which guarded a child soul. Usually children cap had on the top tassels made of threads or plume of eagle-owl feathers. Sometimes children cap had an image of a snake, which had special protective power.
