The rich decorated weapon is an indispensable detail of Emir's dress and also an important part of high gifts. Festive robes were usually worn with belt and weapon. The artistic value of a weapon was also very high. Usually such a weapon was decorated with gems and gold and silver stamping pieces. Bent blades were ornamented with flowery pattern and laces of Arabic ligature as well.

Armories of Central Asia had developed their own manner of producing weapon and it could be seen in technologies, shapes, blade proportions and decoration.

In rich Russians houses it was in use to decorate walls of so called "Oriental room" with such ceremonial weapon sets.
